Once October begins, you start hearing chatter about sweater weather and pumpkin spice everything, but here at EM we get excited about Fall for one reason: the lip colors. Finally, all the darker shades, from deep berry tones to true reds are resurrected and pushed to the front of your makeup drawer. Shop our favorite  Fall looks to spice up your makeup routine this season.

Evening Primrose is a twist on your typical berry shade, this vibrant fuschia is the perfect way to add a pop of color. Our favorite way to wear this is as a vibrant monochromatic look with a small wing. Apply Evening Primrose to both your cheeks and lips. To apply as blush, dab a small amount on your cheeks, and using a fluffy brush, blend the product out.  Finish the look with a thin wing across your lash line. Another fun way to apply Evening Primrose is by using a small brush or dabbing the product onto your lips using your fingers. This produces a lush diffused look that is very wearable!

Matte red lipstick for Fall? Groundbreaking. No, but really this is a staple! Red Divine is a true red that compliments all skin tones, and essentially any makeup look. You can do a “no makeup” makeup look with a bold lip for a classy day time vibe. But if you throw on some eyeliner, add a pop of eyeshadow, a few swipes of mascara, and a layer of Red Divine and voila— you’re ready to hit the town. We also love to add Red Divine to cheeks for a tinge color, just dispense a small amount to each cheek and blend out with a fluffy brush!

This shade is a muted terracotta that looks like all the best things about Fall rolled into a single color. A perfect blend of orange, red and brown hues, Red Jasper is definitely one of our favorite Fall colors.  An easy way to incorporate this color into a quick makeup look is by applying Red Jasper to your lips, and lining your upper lash line with a gel eyeliner— we used our Matte Gel Pencil. Grab your Pumpkin Spice drink, throw on a sweater, and you're ready to go!

A great way to spice up a natural makeup look this Fall is by applying a vibrant matte lipstick. One of our personal favorites is Vintage Rosewood, an earthy mauve. You can keep it simple, and go bare-faced or add Color Drops Serum Blush in Soft Amethyst to your cheeks for a radiant glow. This Rose Berry hue gives you the "one glass of wine glow" that we all love and Vintage Rosewood is the perfect earthy pop of color. This is definitely one of our favorite Fall combos

Do you love reds, but you’re more of a gloss person? Don’t worry we have the product for you! Scarlett Knight is a classic, blue-red, high shine gloss that is perfect for Fall— or any time if you ask me. For this look, apply the Illustrative Eyeliner in Matte Gel Pencil to line your waterline, and create a small wing on your upper lash line using an angled eyeliner brush.
